HeatRay Non-Glowing Heaters can be ceiling or wall mounted, as well as incorporated into various structures such as pergolas, trellises, gazebo, marquees, conservatories, garages, sheds or other shelters, fixed awnings and commerical grade patio umbrellas. The Non-glowing vandal proof heaters are suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.
The HeatRay product range has been developed to address specific requirement of the outdoor and indoor environments. To help you select the best solution for either a commercial trading space, or a private patio, we have created a simple product selection guide.
Non glowing panels are IP X5 (NEMA 4) rated, which means they are protected against unforeseen exposure to rain or water jets. This enables the heaters to be installed outdoors and safely washed and rinsed with low pressure water cleaners and garden hoses.
Two-stage HIGH - LOW heat output allows the provision of an optimum heat comfort when experiencing varying ambient cold conditions. This arrangement brings additional benefit of lowering the overall power consumption, thus the running costs, when higher heating power is not needed.
Each heating panel covers 15 sq ft - 30 sq ft of floor space depending on the installation height and final application.
The HeatRay Non glowing heating system aims soft energy in a specific direction to warm people and objects in its path, instead of wasting energy trying to heat unoccupied spaces.
Why run heaters in areas that are not in use, operate multiple groups of heaters independently of each other (up to 4, 8 or 12 heaters per heating zone) with dedicated Heatray control modules.
HeatRay Non Glowing Radiant Panel Heaters have undergone extensive independent laboratory testing to establish full compliance to the UL & CSA Listing in US & Canada as well as European CE marking and Australian & New Zealand AS /NZ Certification. Above approvals incorporate Compliance with Outdoor Usage, as well as Design Integrity, Product Application and Heat Effect on Structures.

Non-glowing heaters can be mounted using U-shaped ‘Ceiling/Wall Brackets’. These are available in a number of sizes to provide a 5″, 8″, 12″ or 18″ drop from the ceiling or an offset from the wall.
CWMB-5
This bracket allows the heating panel to be suspended 5 inches below the ceiling.
CWMB-8
This bracket allows the heating panel to be suspended 8 inches below the ceiling.
CWMB-12
This bracket allows the heating panel to be suspended 12 inches below the ceiling.
CWMB-18
This bracket allows the heating panel to be suspended 18 inches below the ceiling.
For areas where the ceiling is at the appropriate height, Non-glowing heaters can be mounted flush with the ceiling by utilizing ‘Ceiling Recess Units’.
CFM
Ceiling Recess Unit.
When a ceiling is higher than 8 feet, Non-glowing heaters will need to be dropped to the optimal mounting height by implementing ‘Ceiling Tube Suspension’ units. The standard length of the suspension tubes is 36″ and can be trimmed on-site to any shorter length.
CSTS
Ceiling Single Tube Suspension.
To allow Non-glowing radiant patio heaters to be grouped into pairs, ‘Ceiling Double Tube Suspension’ units are required. This system allows the paired heaters to be mounted at the optimal mounting height of 8 feet. The standard length of the suspension tube is 36″ and can be trimmed on-site to any shorter length.
CDTS
Ceiling Double Tube Suspension.
Non-glowing heaters can be easily integrated with the entire range of our HeatRay Heated Umbrellas. The radiant Non-glowing heaters get seamlessly attached under the arms of the patio umbrellas for optimal warmth distribution.
